‘Fanalet’ is the name for a portable lantern that contains a candle or oil wick, used in traditional festivals. In Asia, the Lantern Festival is celebrated in honour of the Buddha, which aims to promote peace and reconciliation.

What can we craft with reused cardboard packages?

To hand craft this set of lamps and table only a cutter is needed. By adding a lampholder and a warm light LED bulb, we’ll get the essence of traditional ‘fanalet’ lantern.

Easily move and place the lamps where you want… on the floor, on a shelf or pendant… In the bedroom, place one close to the bed and the other pendant above the cardboard bed side table.
